Hi there, is there high speed internet in Laos and if so, where can I access it? I've been to internet cafes and find that their speeds are ok but sort of slow. Are there like, super duper high speed internet connections?

Also can you get high speed in homes, i.e. rented homes / apartments? What are the rates?

Yes, there is high speed internet in Laos. The fastest high speed internet that I can find is 2Mbps and for that speed you will be paying a lot.
